Lunch at August

I had a typically great lunch at August recently. I guess it’s been a few months since my last meal at Chef John Besh’s flagship operation, and once again I ended up wondering why it’s been so long.
We sat in the dining area under the glassed-in second floor wine cellar, which is a pretty neat space. It must be a good place to sit, because John Folse was entertaining a table of four right next to us. He pretended not to know me, of course, but I could tell by the way he kept his back to me during the entire meal that he was probably a little threatened. Or something. Actually, seeing Chef Folse reminded me that I need to pick up a copy of his book
